During rainfall, the dumped solid wastes receive water, and the by-products of their decomposition move into the water through waste deposition. The liquid, containing innumerable organic and inorganic compounds, is called “leachate.” This leachate accumulates at the bottom of the landfill, percolates through the soil, and reaches the groundwater. Thus, to limit migration of the leachate Cypark has appointed Huls Engineering to supply, deliver and install subjected geosynthetic materials and responsilibities for the design and build for this project.
